QPad DX-20: unboxing and design

The QPad DX-20 makes a gala presentation with a white box. On the front we have an image of the product, while on the back all the technical characteristics of the product.

Once we open the box we find that it is covered with foam rubber. Once we remove all the protections we find the following bundle:

The QPAD DX-20 presents dimensions of 120 x 65 x 40 mm (Length x Width x Height) and a weight of 90 grams. Its design is ambidextrous by incorporating a symmetrical design and, above all, very fine. We see it as ideal for users with small hands… since you quickly get used to it. Once we look at the right side we have the same configuration: two buttons and a rubber surface . The experience is really very good.

On the left side we have a complete rubber area that helps grip the mouse and prevent it from slipping.

In the central area we have two buttons that adjust the mouse speed in three DPI profiles and the scroll that is quite silent.

On the back it has surfaces and a 3200 DPI optical sensor. Somewhat scarce for UHD resolution and that is adjustable via software. We would also like to highlight that it has a Polling Rate of up to 1000 Hz.

The cable is twisted and measures 1.8 meters. Its connection is USB 2.0. gold plated. View of RGB mouse lighting. One last!

QPAD DX-20 Software

In addition to connecting the mouse to our computer through the USB connection, we must download the latest software version from the QPAD website. Once installed, the first screen we see will appear.

In it we can navigate various menus. For example, we find a wide variety of options to modify such as button behavior, cursor speed, double-click, visibility, advanced DPI control, Polling Rate Hz and the possibility of macros.

We also have an RGB section with the possibility to choose between 16 million colors and customize both the logo, the scroll and the lower halo of the mouse. As a curiosity it includes a safe mode, which by default after 30 minutes all lights are deactivated. Great job from QPAD!

Experience and final words

The QPAD DX-20 is an ambidextrous mouse with a total of 7 buttons, an optical sensor, an incredible RGB lighting system and an ARM Cortex M3 processor to store different profiles and macro functions.

The only downside that we can find is that the 3200 DPI can be short when we play with 4K resolution, in its desktop version it works quite well. What if it would be recommended for Full HD or 2560 x 1440p resolution.

Currently we can find it on Amazon for an approximate price of 69 euros. Of course it is not a cheap mouse but it is one of the best options that the market offers and that will soon enter our list of best gaming mice on the market .
