Remedy's latest action game, Control, will be released this August 27, and AMD says its new controller offers 10% more performance compared to version 19.8.1 when running the game with DirectX 11.
The controller also adds the new game from Supermassive Games, which developed the horror drama The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan. AMD did not go into details about the improvements this game will have with the new controllers, so we assume that there will be no performance improvements for it. The game is scheduled to launch on August 30.
AMD also added PlayReady 3.0 DRM support for its new series of RX 5700 graphics cards in its previous version of drivers. Similarly, the current driver arrives with HDCP 2.3 compatibility for the new line of graphics cards.
