Thanks to a new leak from AMD Poland we know that the Radeon RX 480 in its 8 GB memory variant will have an official price of $ 229, which means that the 4 GB model will officially arrive for $ 199.

Radeon RX 480 will cost $ 229 + tax on its 8GB version of memory

However, remember that the prices are announced without taxes, in the case of Spain we have to add a minimum of 21% VAT, so the final prices for the 4 GB and 8 GB variants could be approximately 230 euros and 270 euros respectively. We always talk about the reference models since the custom versions of the assemblers would later arrive at significantly higher prices.

The Radeon RX 480 is endowed with a 14nm Ellesmere (Polaris 10) GPU silicon and a total of 36 Compute Units. This configuration adds a maximum of 2, 304 stream processors that work in their reference version at a frequency of 1, 200 MHz. The GPU is accompanied by 4 GB or 8 GB of GDDR5 memory with a 256-bit interface and a bandwidth of 256 GB / s.

With all this, the Radeon RX 480 presents a TDP of only 150W that allows the reference model to operate with a single 6-pin power connector and maintain its temperature at approximately 62 ºC.

It is the most anticipated graphics card of the moment for its promise to offer an excellent balance between price and performance to an extent that has not been seen for many years.
