The 1408 SPs provide the Radeon RX 5500 GPU with the same number of processing cores as the Nvidia GTX 1660, which contains 1408 CUDA cores. This translates to 22 computing units on the Radeon RX 5500, which is 45% fewer computing units than AMD's RX 5700 XT.
