Radeon rx 580 wrecks the geforce gtx 1060 in battlefield v

A report through PCGamesN brings us some interesting performance tests between AMD's RX 580 and NVIDIA's GTX 1060 running under Battlefield V, with surprising results for the red side.
Radeon cards benefit the most in Battlefield V
Battlefield V is being developed by DICE in collaboration with NVIDIA, but it seems that the performance improvements are not going as well as expected. Based on the performance tests that have come to light, the 8 GB AMD RX 580 graphics card (the only red GPU that has been tested) outperforms NVIDIA's 6 GB GTX 1060 by a considerable margin.
The performance difference in under 1080p and 1440p resolutions (with Ultra settings) is 30% and, as usual, AMD's offerings improve on NVIDIA's when a rendering change to DirectX 12 occurs.
While AMD cards wobble DirectX 12, NVIDIA's GTX 1060 always offers poorer levels of performance. Perhaps we are witnessing somewhere in the old collaborative efforts between AMD and DICE? Still, it's too early to say that this will be the performance once the game launches on PC on October 19.
DICE still has a few months to apply some optimization for NVIDIA graphics cards and see more even results between both cards. Hopefully so, as the GTX 1060 is currently one of the most popular among PC gamers.
