We have the first images of the Radeon RX VEGA 64 in its two flavors, the reference model based on the RX 500 and a limited edition with a metallic finish.

Radeon RX VEGA 64 shown in both flavors

The images have been filtered by the Anglo-Saxon site Videocardz and in them you can see the mentioned Radeon RX VEGA 64, based on the new VEGA architecture that AMD has been preparing for quite some time to compete against the top-of-the-range graphics cards from Nvidia .

In the case of the standard edition, we can see that this graphics card will use two 8-pin connectors to power, it will have three DisplayPort ports and an HDMI port, always talking about the reference model, we know that in the models of the different manufacturers this is going to vary.

The model still maintains the same sobriety as the latest AMD RX 400 - RX 500 series with a single turbine and with hardly any details about its casing.

This is the limited edition

In the case of the RX VEGA 64 limited edition, it reminds us a lot of the VEGA Frontier, although here AMD opts for a more metallic finish and with the VEGA logo printed directly on the case in red.

We know that there is also a model called Radeon RX Vega 64 Liquid Edition, which as its name implies, uses a liquid-cooled solution. We don't have photos of this model yet, but we don't think it will take too long to filter it.

We recently saw some performance results for this graphics card, where parity with the Nvidia GTX 1080 was being demonstrated, which can be a bit disappointing after so much waiting.

The official announcement for Radeon RX VEGA would be this weekend at the Siggraph , so stay tuned.
