Raspberry Pi 3 overheats in its processor
The Reddit user ghalfacree has noticed that the processor of his brand new Raspberry Pi 3 reaches operating temperatures very close to 100ºC when subjected to a very demanding stress test. Too high a temperature that causes the entire PCB to overheat with the consequent risk of irreparable damage.
The user himself has managed to put a small heatsink with a fan on his Raspberry Pi 3 and has solved the overheating problem. It remains to be confirmed if it is a specific failure or is generalized in all units, what is certain is that very soon we will see third-party cooling solutions for the new Raspberry creations.
