Krom Movistar Riders is a new gaming mouse that reaches the market, it is the device that represents the e-sports team that bears the same name, and that promises to offer us very good benefits as well as great aesthetics. Inside is the PixArt PWM 3330 sensor, along with high-quality OMRON mechanisms, and an advanced RGB lighting system to give it a brutal aesthetic.

First of all, we thank Krom for the trust placed in us when transferring the product to us for analysis.

Krom Movistar Riders technical characteristics

Unboxing and design

The Movistar Riders team has inspired the design of the packaging for this gaming mouse, as we find a box in which black and blue predominate, unlike orange, which is predominant in the rest of Krom's products. Beyond that, the box is like the ones we've seen on the other Krom mice this year, with premium printing and highlighting all of the product's most important features. In this case, its RGB lighting, its OMRON switches, the PWM 3330 sensor and the official product emblem of Movistar Riders are highlighted. We open the box and find the mouse inside a plastic blister for better protection.

We take the Krom Movistar Riders mouse out of the box and we can now focus our eyes on the product.

It is a mouse made entirely of black plastic, with measurements of 126 x 66 x 38 mm with a weight of 105 grams with the cable. As we see is a mouse with a fairly light weight that will give us an excellent compromise between agility and precision of movement. This mouse offers an almost completely symmetrical design, so it will adapt equally well to the right hand as to the left. Its surface has a rubbery finish, thanks to which it will not slip in the hand. The mouse works with a connection cable with a length of 1.8 meters, is braided to offer greater resistance and ends in a gold-plated USB connector.

We have highlighted that the design of this mouse is almost totally symmetrical, the only detail that makes it not so is the lack of buttons on the right side, where we see a piece of plastic that appears to be a button, but it is not. It seems that they have used the chassis of another symmetrical mouse like the Krom Kolt, and have removed the two buttons on the right side, putting in place the plastic piece that we see in this unit.

More details that resemble the Krom Kolt is the top, with two additional buttons just below the scroll wheel. The main buttons hide some very good quality OMRON switches, so we have a mouse for a long time. The scroll wheel is rubberized and quite large, thanks to which it becomes quite comfortable to use

On the left side we find two additional programmable buttons, which have a hard and firm touch that denotes their good build quality. Under the buttons we see a textured rubber area to improve the grip on the hand, we see this same rubber finish on the other side.

On the back we see the Movistar Riders logo that is part of the lighting system next to the wheel and some small bands located on the sides. Then we will see how this lighting is, although we already anticipated that it is quite attractive.

We reached the bottom, where the PixArt PWM 3330 optical sensor with a maximum sensitivity of 7200 DPI, a sampling rate of 150 IPS, a framerate of 8000 FPS and an acceleration of 30G hides. Krom has also included three large Teflon surfers to help smooth mouse glide.

Krom Movistar Riders Software

The Krom Movistar Riders mouse uses the company's software, which we can download from its official website and that will allow us to manage all the parameters of the mouse in a simple way. After installing the application, we can now open it and we find a very well organized interface in categories so that we always know where everything is.

The first section allows us to assign the functions of the seven programmable mouse buttons, we can select multimedia functions, keyboard functions, macros, Windows shortcuts, launch applications and some more. Krom has also included a quite complete macro manager, thanks to which we will be able to make the most of this mouse.

The next section corresponds to lighting, being an RGB system we can choose between 16.8 million colors, it also offers various light effects, as well as the possibility of adjusting the intensity and speed of the effect. Finally, we have the performance sections, where we can adjust the sensitivity of the sensor from 50 DPI to 7200 DPI, always from 50 to 50 and in five available profiles, in addition to the polling rate and cursor speed, double click and scroll.

Final words and conclusion about Krom Movistar Riders

The Krom Movistar Riders mouse arrives on the market to offer an exclusive product from the brand in terms of collaboration with the Movistar Riders team. It is a gaming mouse that offers us very good benefits, with a sensor that although it is not the top of the range, it works really well and an ordinary user will not notice the difference. The mouse is very comfortable in the hand and its construction shows a good level of quality in all aspects, these are details that were already to be expected seeing its structural similarity with the Krom Kolt, but we can only confirm it.

We recommend reading the best mice on the market

The design of the mouse makes it very agile when it comes to sliding on the mat, something essential when we are looking for a mouse to play FPS titles, where precision and speed are everything.

The software shows a clear and very intuitive interface when using it, so we have no objection. What we did not like is that it is not translated into Spanish, something that should be fixed with an update, something that we had already seen in the last analyzed mice from this manufacturer.
