Why choose a Razer mouse?

Its weight is good, weighing around 96g and it should be noted that the quality of the accompanying Razer FireFly is excellent.

The special mat of the brand feeds the mouse and we can affirm that it is of a respectable size. It is made of a rigid material and thanks to this we can turn it around and choose between two different surfaces, both of which are very pleasant.

Low autonomy

On the other hand, we have to emphasize that, although the weight is acceptable, it is high enough to lack a battery. We thought a wireless mouse that was independent of the mat and weighed 10g more would have been a safer bet. However, that position was taken away by the subsequent Mamba Wireless .

We lose all the advantages that a wireless mouse offers us due to the lack of autonomy. The condenser that it has offers us just 10 seconds of life, which anchors us to having to use the device or above the FireFly or ironically with cable. This is why the price shoots up.

We cannot deny that the mouse is great and of excellent quality, but the high price it has does not allow us to give it a higher rank. It is an interesting experiment, but it is one that does not seem too viable to us.

Attractive and precise

The biggest virtue of this new version of the Lancehead is its body, since it is a very balanced and pleasant to grip. If we liked the sides of the HyperFlux , they only improve here, since they run all over the mouse along with some colorful strips of RGB lights, which pretty embellish the device. This model is likely to be able to satisfy a huge group of players.

In this case we also have nine programmable buttons, only in different arrangements. With two buttons on each side and five on the front, we have a perfectly symmetrical design that knocks on many doors. This model exists in three colors: mercurial white, metallic gray and black.

Ambidextrous grips

However, since it does not have a defined body for any type of grip, it is easy to fall into that it is not as comfortable as it could be if it had another shape.

It's because of a mixture of two factors, one of which being form, which is why we think the Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition has not been very successful among professional gamers. In e-Sports like Counter-Strike the Zowie reigns and in Overwatch Logitech has no equal.

We have to highlight the weight of the mouse. It almost seems like a habit, but it's not an especially good thing. This mouse weighs around 104g, which can be a bit excessive. In order not to have a battery, or any special part or functionality, we consider that its weight could be improved.

Due to its unique and disparate shape, it is evident that this mouse has been designed mainly for palm-grip users, although it also fits, as usual, a claw-grip. A finger-tip grip is likely to be quite uncomfortable, so we don't recommend it.

The mouse has eight programmable buttons with Razer Omrom switches and the most peculiar of them all is under the left button. It is a removable button that serves mainly to temporarily control the DP I. With this feature we can choose between two profiles on the fly, an excellent functionality for shooters. In addition, it has a button on the base to control the hardness of the wheel turning, so we can choose how resistant it will be.

The best feature it has, without a doubt, is its price. Currently it is around € 60, making it an excellent mouse with benefits worthy of the best and with a very competitive price. Right now you can get the black version or the rose quartz, which, personally, I quite like with all the RGB of always.

There are a few grams more

In the case of the Razer Basilisk mouse we have to emphasize the same as in the Lancehead. Being a wired mouse it is worrying that the weight is so high. It is not serious, since 107g is only slightly above average weight, but it is something that we would appreciate reducing.

Likewise, we believe that a flatter design could benefit palm-grip users more and thus definitively link this mouse with one of the three main positions. While it would wow claw-type users, higher up on the podium we have a perfect champion for them who seems to be second to none.

Wireless quality

As the name suggests, the biggest point of the Razer Mamba Wireless is the absence of cables. The company announces that the battery lasts around 50 hours of continuous play, but since it does not offer context, we intuit that they are with all the lights off.

The mouse shows us the AFT technology (Adaptive Frequency Technology) , which, as the name indicates, adapts the frequency we are at to avoid interference and other obstacles. With this technology we are able to operate at maximum performance avoiding any type of problem if we are in a space with numerous wireless devices.

It is a very well balanced mouse and with quite respectable autonomy. Benefiting more from right-handed grip, this mouse offers excellent grip for claw-grip users and, to a lesser extent, a good fingetip-grip experience. Worrying game about insurance

On the dark side of things, it's worth mentioning how unauthorized he is. The mouse has seven programmable buttons that are all you can expect and it lacks auxiliary or special buttons like the Basilisk .

Like his brothers, we have to emphasize that he is touching a slightly worrying weight. The 106g of weight is not an uncomfortable figure for the average user, but it can be improved. The bad

We will not stop repeating it, even if they are not too serious problems. The weight of the Deathadder Elite like that of most Razers mice is slightly higher than we would like. If the industry cares about professional gaming, one of its goals should be to reduce weight (as Zowie has been doing for years).

Another small detail to highlight are the side grips, which are of good quality, but for a palm-grip mouse we think that wider strips such as those of the Mamba Wireless or the Lancehead would be much better.
