Table of contents:
The popular Razer Blade 15 will receive an update, offering us a new and updated optical mechanical keyboard. Being one of the technologies that Razer has opted for, the version that has optical switches we hope it has excellent quality.
The Razer Blade 15 may have an optical mechanical keyboard
If you don't know the world of mechanical keyboards, it's those keyboards that have unique key-activated systems also called switches. They are rugged, reliable, and very useful peripherals, but with the advent of cheap and versatile membrane keyboards, they lost some popularity.
However, for gaming, having a keyboard of this type is highly recommended, since the sensation of the game improves, as well as that of writing.
Classic switches
Best of all, just a few years ago, new techniques began to be developed to improve the system. The opticians change the physical system of the switch for a light sensor, something that greatly improves response speeds. In the case of the Razer , we will have 1.7mm of total distance and 1mm of actuation distance with 55g of force needed (something quite balanced ).
To offer the same tactile response characteristic of these peripherals, Razer has only added a small mechanism for this task. In addition, the Blade 15's keyboard will have RGB backlighting, which is nice and useful for night sessions.
As for features, it will cost around 2700 $ USD , and will have:
- CPU Core i7-9750H GPU RTX 2070 16GB RAM Monitor 1080p @ 240Hz 512GB SSD
Currently, the optical mechanical keyboard is only available in one of the Razer Blade 15 configurations, but next year we will receive new versions. On the other hand, it will not be available in all countries and for now we will only have it in the United States, Canada and China .
