Razer has been one of the pioneers in the creation of optical-mechanical keyboards. It was so with the Huntsman Elite model, but the green company has managed to go a step further with its new Razer Huntsman Tournament Edition keyboard (Razer Huntsman TE), which has the new optical-linear key system.

Razer Huntsman TE is now available in North America for 149.99 euros

The Razer Huntsman Tournament Edition keyboard is specifically designed for professional gamers who need the most responsiveness in competitive games. How to improve this response capacity? Well, with a new type of optical-linear switches, which have twice the responsiveness of optical-mechanical keyboards, such as the Razer Huntsman Elite.

Thanks to this new type of keys, the response time is reduced since the switches only have an activation distance of 1mm. In addition, the durability of each key reaches 100 million keystrokes with this system.

Razer comments that the keyboard was tested by the best Overwatch players, such as Arteezy from Team EG, TACO from MIBR or Fleta and Ryujehong.

The keyboard is priced at 149.99 euros and is already available in the United States through Razer.com and Amazon. In the rest of the world it will arrive at the end of September.
