After the presentation of the new gaming notebooks, now the Californian brand Razer has presented its new line of “Razer designed” PC cases made by Lian Li and two new models, Razer Tomahawk and Razer Tomahawk Elite.
Lian Li O11 Dynamic, the new "Designer by Razer" range
“Designed by Razer” was first announced in 2015 and has brought us well-known designs such as the NZXT H440, NZXT S340 or Antec Cube chassis. Well, there has been a new addition to this range of boxes, and it is the Lian Li O11 Dynamic “Designed by Razer”. This new ATX chassis features Chroma lighting fully controllable through Synapse 3 software. The case has a truly striking design, where tempered glass and lighting abound, along with the already traditional logo of the three Razer snakes also illuminated.
Two other new creations, Razer Tomahawk and Razer Tomahawk Elite
The first model that we comment on is the Razer Tomahawk, with a square and very minimalist middle tower design that reminds us a lot of the H range of NZXT. Of course it is compatible with ATX motherboards and it has Razer Chroma lighting in the lower side area, capable of synchronizing with other devices of the brand through the Synapse 3 software. The front is completely free of ports and only has the logo of the brand with lighting. Its left side area is completely designed in tempered glass with the capacity to install more LED lighting strips.
Second, we have the Razer Tomahawk Elite. This chassis is already more advanced than the previous one and aimed at mounting high-performance gaming equipment. What stands out most about this chassis are its two tempered side windows with a gull-wing opening. We also have a high quality top and front and finished in aluminum.
But this is not all, since the assembly of the ATX motherboard is done in reverse for better cooling of the GPU that we install. The upper area has a hydraulic system that automatically rises to allow air flow. The brand makes it clear that this chassis is designed and optimized for liquid cooling, especially for its EK range.
Availability and prices
Regarding the Tomahawk range of boxes, we do not have prices available yet, although the brand says that they will be available soon. The availability of these two models will be in the second and third quarter of 2019, so we still have considerable time left.
On the other hand, the "Razer Designed" Lian Li O11 Dynamic chassis will have a price of $ 169.99 USD and will be available during the first quarter of 2019.
In total three new additions to the range of gaming chassis that will come in stages this 2019. They are designs that remind us a lot in general aspect of the NZXT with an extra quality by the Tomahawk Elite version. We hope to have access to them and share their benefits with you all.
