Razer has unveiled its revamped line of Kraken V2 headphones in both its Pro and 7.1 models. These headphones are the best you can find right now in this area, and one in particular is designed for video games, since they emulate a 7.1 surround sound system, ideal for perfectly identifying audio sources from anywhere in a 3D environment.

Razer presents two models of the Kraken V2

The earliest earphone model is the Razer Kraken Pro V2 which come with an aluminum frame for greater resistance to everyday use. Its wide pads are circumaural type and promise good comfort in our ears.

Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 has a design very similar to its brother but in this case adds virtual 7.1-channel surround sound. Both headphone models include a retractable microphone that features digital sound cancellation through the Razer Synapse. As the two are very similar in terms of design, they weigh about 322 grams, with all the quality of premium materials that this company uses in its peripherals.

Capture of the Razer Kraken Pro V2

In the case of the Razer Kraken Pro V2 this comes with a 3.5 mm analog jack connector and costs about 90 euros. Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 comes with a digital USB connector and costs about 110 euros.

The two Razer proposals will hit stores this October.
