This week, Razer has released its first video capture device, dubbed the Razer Ripsaw. This external video recording card will allow players to stream their favorite titles on platforms like Twitch or YouTube without experiencing a reduction in frame rates or resolution.

The best thing about this device is that it is not limited to PC games. In fact, it has support for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii U. It can also be used with Razer's Forge TV set-top box by those users who want to stream their games from Android and it even works with Open Broadcaster Software and XSplit.

Razer Ripsaw Technical Specifications

Razer wants you to become the next PewDiePie with its new Ripsaw video streaming and capture card

This new card promises 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second, and connects to the PC through a USB 3.0 port. Its operation is quite simple: it captures the contents of a game as uncompressed RAW data with zero latency. There is also a headphone jack on the front and one for a microphone, allowing users to add music or even voice comments to their streaming sessions.

On the back of the device is an HDMI input and other output ports, as well as a USB 3.0 port.

PC requirements

Regarding the PC requirements of the Razer Ripsaw, we can say that the device requires an Intel Core i5-4440 processor at 3.10 GHz or higher, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or higher graphics card, and 4 GB of memory, although the Company recommends 8GB for best performance.

If you're using a gaming notebook, the requirements include an Intel Core i7-4810MQ processor or better and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 870M or better graphics card, with the same amount of memory.

The new Razer Ripsaw is priced at $ 180, although the amount goes up considerably if you decide to buy the company's Broadcaster pack, which also includes two Razer Seiren gaming microphones and the Razer Stargazer high-definition webcam.

The card can now be purchased directly from the company's website by clicking here.
