Reasons to buy an XBOX One S

1 - 2TB of storage

The console comes with a storage capacity of 2TB, a disk space that is very necessary at the moment when most of the important games are occupying between 25 and 50GB of space. The XBOX One S with 2TB disk sells for $ 399 right now.

2 - Can be used vertically

Oddly enough, the original XBOX One could not be positioned vertically, it had to be used horizontally. This was an aesthetic disadvantage compared to the Playstation 4 and a step back compared to the XBOX360 that Microsoft has solved with this new model.

3 - It looks better

Reasons NOT to buy an XBOX One S

1 - Does not come with Kinect

The new model dispenses with Kinect, the motion detection and voice recognition device is not present and must be purchased separately.

2 - Games do not play in 4K

Although the console is compatible with 4K video and Blu-Ray, games do not reach that resolution. This new XBOX One model has practically the same hardware as 3 years ago and therefore the games reach a maximum resolution of 1080p.

3 - There is no upgrade for the traditional player

The equation is simple, if you already have an XBOX One this new model does not make any difference to you, even if you have a Playstation 4 this console will not make you rethink the situation.

4 - Project Scorpio

The most important reason not to buy this console is Project Scorpio. Although it takes more than a year for it to go on sale, Project Scorpio proposes a qualitative leap in terms of calculation power, it will be about 5 times more powerful than this console.
