9th generation intel core series names revealed

The 8th generation Intel Core `` Coffee Lake '' processors have barely taken to the streets and there is already talk that it will be the 9th generation that the American company has prepared for the following year 2018.

We already have the names of the 9th generation Intel Core

Ninth generation Intel Core processors may hit shelves in 2018, after Intel has solved supply problems for its current eighth-generation " Coffee Lake" line , and figured out what to do with seventh-generation inventory of processors "Kaby Lake" .

It is rumored that Intel could further increase the number of cores overall, with the introduction of a series of eight cores in the range of conventional desktops, probably to better segment the Core i7 series from the Core i5 series. It would not be implausible to expect that the next generation Core i7s will be 8 physical cores and that the Core i5s will come with 6 cores, while the Core i3s will be 4 cores in the entry-level range. This would equate them to what AMD is offering right now with its Ryzen processors.

AIDA 64 reveals the names of the next generation

The change log of the latest version of FinalWire AIDA64 reveals which will be the first ninth generation Intel Core processor models, in their i5 and i3 variants.

The Core i5 range includes the i5-9600K, i5-9600, i5-9500, i5-9400, i5-9400T, i5-9400T. The i3 range would be made up of the i3-9300, i3-9300T, i3-9100, i3-9100T, i3-9000 and i3-9000T processors, with the extension "T" denoting a lower TDP, probably at 35W. The changelog also talks about Intel's second wave of Core “Coffee Lake” parts , which launched in early 2018, along with its other 300 series chipsets, such as the H370, B360, and H310.
