Although the power supply lacks certification, Aerocool assures us 80% efficiency. Its core is designed by the prestigious manufacturer HEC and for its cooling it is accompanied by the Scythe Kama DFS122512L PWM fan, which has a minimum start of 310 RPM and in load reaches up to 1200 RPM.

It has a two-lane design on the 12v line. This is a great layout, because one lane powers the CPU and the other lays the GPU.

As we can see the values ​​in its three lines are quite good, in addition its fan is silent in Idle, already in charge, like all, its load is more noticeable. We have verified that the equipment in Idle consumes over 90-100w and in load it has not exceeded 150w.

Once the Aerocool E80-500 has passed through our laboratory, we have verified that it is a highly recommended power supply for multimedia and office computers. Although the Gaming section is not its strength, having little power and a single 6-pin PCI-E. However, we recommend a perfect companion for games, the ATI 5770 graphics card. It is the best performance / consumption graphics card on the market.

Aerocool has not wanted to lose in aesthetics. Its exterior is reminiscent of the chassis of race cars and the cables come with a light mesh.
