The label of mat is too small for the diminutive, since it is a mat that will occupy our entire desk, ideal for players looking for a soft surface on which to support both wrists when using the keyboard and mouse with a perfect glide.

The main surface is microfiber (which appears as "nanotextile" in the Tacens specifications, but it is really a similar material to what we can see in typical glasses cloths), of very good quality, we must say, it slides without problems, and is pleasant to the touch. I am accustomed to aluminum mats and I feel a very slight resistance, but I must say that it is nothing higher than what I have noticed with other cloth mats.

Surface fiber detail:

We note that just like with the MMP3, which gave us very good feelings, we saw how easy it was to slide it, in this case it is almost impossible to move it inadvertently, thanks to the rubber base (also present in the MMP3) but above all thanks to its large size. We add to that that the keyboard will rest on it, so we will not have unwanted surprises even if we are users who make many movements when playing.

The precision of the mouse sensors on the mat, both optical (tested with a Logitech G502) and laser (tested with a Logitech G700s) is perfect, as we expected there has been no strange jump or movement in the cursor after several days of prolonged use.

Probably one of its greatest virtues is also its biggest drawback, since the size is very generous, and it may not fit all desks, we recommend to users interested in this great mat to make sure that the keyboard tray of your table has, at least 88cm wide, or otherwise some margin on the sides to make it stand out.

The design is elegant and quite aggressive, in line with the mars gaming peripherals, in red, white and black, dominating by far the red lava in the image of what appears to represent the surface of Mars, honoring the name of this series. We miss the possibility of choosing some other design and, why not, size, so that other less playful users and with more austere desks can also take this mat into account among their options.

We find a mat that, like the MMP3 in its day, leaves us very good feelings, although in this case in a totally different section, since it is fabric and full size, intended to cover the entire desk.

Until very recently mats of this size and quality were accompanied by prices that exceeded € 30 by margin, in this case I am again surprised that they managed to get this product at a price that does not reach € 12 in Amazon or in pccomponentes, an offer that should make anyone interested in this mat think about it very little.

The design is impeccable, with good finishes around the edge so that it does not fray. The image chosen for my taste is accurate, in accordance with the typical aggressive design of the Mars Gaming peripherals, although I would honestly appreciate having some models with other more discreet designs so that less gamers can also enjoy this wonderful mat, and also to order various widths, so it can be used on narrow tables.
