Review: alphacool dc-lt & ​​alphacool repack

Today we bring you a brief review of the Alphacool DC-LT pump and the Alphacool Repack - Dual DC-LT tank.

What is a Bomba for? As you can imagine it serves to move all the liquid through the circuit. Depending on the circuit and the liters, we will need a pump with more or less power. For example, this Alphacool DC-LT is capable of carrying the cooling of a processor and a GPU if the circuit is well managed.

What is a deposit for? It is where the liquid is stored. There are several sizes: 100/250 / 500mml and types: tubes, tank, coupled to the pump…

Nor should we forget that the deposit is optional, but highly recommended. Another alternative is to use Fillport;).

In this case the Alphacool Repack - Dual DC-LT occupies a single 5.25 ″ bay and is capable of holding up to 2 Alphacool DC-LT pumps to move double liters.

It is powered by a 3-pin connection. A little closer:

Alphacool provided us with the DC-LT TOP Plexi top. It comes perfectly packed in a very compact box.

In its content comes the top, two caps and the screws for the installation of the pump. Here is a view of the tank.

For my taste the most interesting component of the analysis is the "Alphacool Repack - Dual DC-LT" bay tank. It comes very well packed in a black box.

It includes:

The tank only occupies a 5.25 ″ bay. The dominant colors are black and copper. Although we can see the content at all times thanks to its plexiglass structure.

The tank has engraved the percentage of liquid that we have available. In case there is a leak.

We have a stopper, which is very comfortable to pour or collect water from the circuit.

Another interesting point is that the tank allows us to install up to 2 pumps. This allows us to double the power of the circuit and cool various graphs and cpus.

The tank accepts two G1 / 4 fittings. Here we install a spigot / fatboy fitting?

Although we already had great references from the manufacturer Alphacool, our first contact could not have been better. The pump and the tank are fundamental elements in a liquid cooling by parts and these are of the highest quality.

The Alphacool DC-LT pump has reduced dimensions (51x48x9 mm) allowing us to install it in a compact TOP plexi and hide it or display it in any corner of the box. Each motor has a maximum flow of 120l / H this allows us to cool a CPU perfectly, even a CPU + Graphics card or Motherboard. And one point we would have liked is for the pump to have a 4-pin power connection.

It is time to talk about the Alphacool Repack - Dual DC-LT tank. For my taste of the best of the brand. Great aesthetics, practical, with many connections and at the top we have a plug to fill / empty the circuit. In addition, it allows us to install up to two DC-LT pumps… this means that we can mount a high-end circuit.

In our tests we have cooled an i7 2600k to 5200 mhz. With a Phobya G-Changer 360 v1.2 radiator. The results? 62º in FULL and 31º in idle. The pump is very quiet and powerful.

In short, if you are looking for a quiet, good, beautiful and cheap pump. And a quality deposit that will last for many years. This Alpahcool kit is the best alternative on the market regarding quality / price.
