A reduced size should not result in poor cooling, performance, or appearance. The ISK110 VESA is designed to offer an efficient, small-format design without compromising on features. Despite a width of just 78mm, this box, mounted on a stable, easy-to-mount base or on the included VESA mount, houses two 2.5 ”drive bays (a perfect choice for internal SSDs).

Perforated mesh construction provides accurate, quiet ventilation and mounting options for various corporate applications, and supports low-profile CPU coolers from Intel.

The set is completed by a small, albeit incredibly powerful, 90-watt adapter, with which you will enjoy up to 92% power efficiency. Ideal for use in corporate environments, kiosks, and applications in the automotive and embedded device industry, the ISK110 VESA is a tiny, feature-packed box solution.

The ISK110 is presented in a cardboard box. Its cover is the drawing of the box and a VESA support. As always, perfectly protected. In that nobody will win against Antec.

The box has two positions: Horizontal or Vertical, allowing us to attach it to any corner of the house. I personally like his design a lot. Black / silver color and very well ventilated.

It is appreciated that the left side has a “metal mesh window. This will allow fresh air to enter and exit all components.

While the left side has perforations for ventilation and aesthetically it is very good.

On the front panel we are not missing anything. 4 USB, audio input / output, power and hard drive LEDs and finally the power button.

On the ceiling, small grilles for air intake.

On the back we have the connections of the motherboard and the power output of the power supply.

The power supply that incorporates this small passive 90 W preciousness with an efficiency of 92% and 5A in the 12v line.

What allows us to connect? Any itx board on the market with any available processor. It is always advisable to choose a low-power processor such as the Intel T series LGA1555 or an AMD Llano FM1.

Includes a 90w power supply manufactured by Delta Electronics with 5 amps on the 12v line. This power supply allows us to install any Intel LGA1155 or AMD Llano processor with APU. Although for this specific box we recommend the use of AMD Llano for its integrated GPU, because the ISK110 does not have an expansion port…

To check its cooling level we have assembled: An intel i7 2700k processor with the stock heatsink, an Asrock Z77E Itx motherboard, 8GB DDR3 G.Skills Ripjaws and a 2.5 500GB Sata hard drive. What temperatures has the equipment reached? 38º in idle and stressing the CPU at 3900mhz reached up to 69.5ºC. The limit is found at 80ºC for Sandy Bridges. My personal recommendation and 100% compatible with this box is the Scythe Kozuti that will drop between 10 to 15ºC to the reference heatsink.

At the storage level, it allows us to install 2.5 ″ hard drives or SSDs. It also has two front USB 2.0 outputs. Enough for any HTPC system, home server or home equipment. I think that the incorporation of USB 3.0 would not have cost much. because they are 10 times faster than USB 2.0.

The price of the box ranges from € 70 to € 75. An excellent price for an itx box, well built, 90w power supply included and with a very good passive dissipation. Excellent Antec work!
