This time Antec has decided to use a generic box to house the Antec ISK310-150. On the right side we have all the characteristics of the box.

The box is protected by polystyrene and a plastic bag to prevent the entry of any speck of dust.

We can install any 2.5 optical drive on top.

Also includes three 80mm TriCool fans. One of the best fans on the market by this measure.

Includes a 150w power supply. For any HTPC equipment left over (the consumption ranges from 20-30w). Furthermore, we could install a low-profile, low / mid-range graphics card to play a little game.

We have installed an ITX motherboard. We have enough space to install a low profile heatsink with no problems. Like the Scythe Kozuti.

We have almost 7 cm for the height of the heatsink.

CONCLUSION

The Antec ISK 310-150 is exclusively designed for Mini-ITX format motherboards. Although its size is small, it is able to easily handle the tasks of traditional equipment, the only difference is that it takes up half the space. We already know that today we are able to assemble a mid / high range PC in a mini itx tower.

We have installed an itx base plate from the ITX platform. We have seen that it allows us to install a heatsink up to 7 cm high and a low profile graphics card. Our configuration has been: Intel 2600k, Gigabyte H61-USB3, 6450 HD ATI graphics card, 2.5 250gb hard drive and a slim reader.

Regarding its cooling, it is equipped with an 8cm TriCool side fan and a 150w power supply. Enough to cool and power our equipment. We must not forget that it includes three drive enclosures to get the most out of 2.5 hard drives.
