Antec Nineteen Hundred packaging and exterior

We have little to say about the packaging, except that it is gigantic and weighs around 16kg. Its packaging is perfect and meets all the requirements for the tower to arrive in perfect condition.

The Antec Ninetten Hundred has enormous measurements that stand out almost 70 cm high, 22 cm wide and 55.5 deep. Its design is basically for a high-end equipment and with great features, so it is compatible with ATX, CEB, EATX, Micro ATX and Mini ITX motherboards. Currently we can find it in two models: Black and Red or Green and Red, as we can see in the second image the design is fantastic. The left side includes a window that allows us to see all the content of our equipment and thus display it without the need to have the cover open.

On the front in its upper area we have the on / off button, reset, two USB 2.0 connections, the audio input and output and 4 USB 3.0 ports. This front offers us great connection possibilities without the need to move from the chair to connect various storage units or peripherals.

Already in the lower area we see that the style is taken care of to the maximum detail and the tower is worthy of having it on a table. It would be a real shame to put her down.

Now we go to the back. We find a 120mm fan, 9 PCI slots, inlet / outlet pipes for liquid cooling and two holes for two high-end power supplies.

As usual in Antec boxes we find a rehobus or fan controller that allows us to connect up to 4 fans with two high-end and low-RPM profiles. This small detail allows us to convert a silent team or an extreme team.

Without a doubt the box stands out in quality and this photo proves it!

At first glance we can see that the box allows us a wide range of possibilities both for configurations of various graphics cards, liquid cooling and unlimited storage. One of the things I like the most is that its interior is painted in black and that they have an excellent design to perform the maintenance or installation of heatsinks or liquid cooling without the need to remove the motherboard.

The Antec Nineteeen Hundred has a total of 9 PCI slots, that is, it allows us to install motherboards up to EATX. Also note that we can assemble up to two power supplies. What for? It will be great when we install 3 or 4 graphics cards and have no problems with energy shortages.

The box has a total of six 120 mm “ Antec Fluid Dynamic Bearing ” fans installed: three in the front, two in the upper area and one in the anterior area. My personal advice is that the fans are of quality and it is not necessary to change them, since it allows us silent and high performance profiles (performance). I also liked that they are not visible and we have a lot of aesthetics.

One of the strongest is found in its great capacity to house hard drives, since it allows us a total of 17 in size 2.5 ″ to 3.5 ″ which are divided into two zones: Rear zone and the low independent zone. All adapters include anti-vibration system and are used with easy mounting. We also have 3 5.25 ″ bays to install optical drives or any add-ons.

For maintenance of hard drives we have two buttons that lower the cover and thus be able to access them. It includes a thin sheet to reduce the noise they give off.

Now we remove the right cover and we see that the managament cable is very good and includes a large number of areas to use

The upper part can be removed with just 4 screws, here we find a dedicated area to install a double radiator, for example the Antec Khüler 1250. I really like that it has filters to prevent dust from entering the inside of the tower.

Final words and conclusion

The Nineteen Hundred is the most powerful and giant box that Antec has made in all these years. It has gigantic measurements: 69.6 (H) x 22.36 (W) x 55.5 (D) cm. and an approximate weight of 16kg. It is available in two designs Red / Black or Green / Black. The one that we have analyzed the red that comes in great with a motherboards ROG or Gaming series;).

It is compatible with motherboards with ATX, CEB, EATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX format and allows us to install up to 4 graphics cards with two power supplies. The front panel has four USB 3.0 ports and two normal USB, that is, without connection limits.

Regarding refrigeration, it allows us to install up to 8 fans. Standard includes six 12 cm Antec Fluid Dynamic Bearing fans with the following configuration: 3 at the rear, two on the ceiling and one at the rear. It would have been nice if the box was compatible with the 140mm measurement, since they are quieter when turning at less RPM and allow us to play more with the team's possibilities.

Another of its strongest points is that it allows us to install up to 17 2.5 ″ or 3.5 ″ hard drives in the internal bays that are divided into two independent cabinets. All of them with their anti-vibration technology and quick access for maintenance.

In our test bench assembled a high performance system with an i7-4790k processor, an Asus Maximus VII Formula motherboard, 16GB DDR3 G.Skills TridentX, two Asus GTX 780 Direct CU II and a 500GB SSD Raid 0. The result has been incredible, the SLI has remained at 65ºC playing, the processor with an overclock of 4800 mhz 62ºC at full load and 28ºC at rest.

In short, if you are looking for a box for many years, of quality, with a striking aesthetic, large capacity for power supplies, hard drives and graphics cards, the Antec Nineteen Hundred meets all the requirements to be the number 1 candidate. The price in online stores is € 199.
