Antec already has us used to using a large and robust box. This will cushion any impact.

The box incorporates polystyrene and is covered by a plastic bag.

We have a useful front filter, which will save much of the dust that enters our box. Very useful to last a few months without cleaning the equipment.

The grilles are painted black and includes an outlet for liquid cooling tubes.

The screws can be removed without the need for a screwdriver.

The side panel includes a panel to dampen vibrations and sound emitted by the box.

What great news that Antec has included cable management?

We can also include two 120mm fans on the left side of the hard drives. For what? Our graphics and motherboard chipsets will appreciate it.

This is the booth for hard drives. It is not removable, because there is enough space to install several large graphics.

The hard drive adapter incorporates 4 rubbers to avoid vibrations. They are also adapted to install 2.5 ″ SSDs.

The upper cabin includes an easy installation mechanism for optical units.

This is two great news:

1st). Between the side cover and the base plate support. We have a space that allows us to store all the cables. Without bulging the side cover (very typical over time).

The Antec P280 is a box with a spectacular design. It includes the details of a High-End box: Fan filters, cable management, large hard drive cabinet with ssd support, soundproofing panels: to isolate internal and external sound, and the installation of several large graphics cards.

Regarding its refrigeration, we could describe it as outstanding. It allows us all kinds of configurations: 2 front 12 cm fans (not included), 2 12 cm fans for graphics cards (not included), 2 12 cm fans for the ceiling and 1 12 cm fan at the rear. This allows us to install any liquid cooling with a single radiator, or on the ceiling with a fine double radiator (note that you could only blow air with two fans). To check its quality we have tested the equipment full of fans and our reference GTX580 graphics have not gone above 40º in idle and 74ºC in full.

We would also like to praise the excellent cable management and depth on the left side. We can store all cables without bulging the box. Although we would have liked the rehobus to be in the front instead of the back.

Antec continues to show us why it is one of the leaders in the manufacture of performance one boxes: silence, performance, organization and maximum cooling. Its recommended price of € 139, is more than justified.
