The Antec SOLO III box is divided into two chambers. It is designed with the famous Quiet Computing technology, recognized in the Antec Sonata series. It incorporates a double layer of 1.0 mm SECC polycarbonate steel. and anti vibration plates. Among its functions we must highlight:

- Dual hard drive installation system: Classic system with silicone rubber or suspended disks.

- USB 3.0 connections. on the front.

- Washable filters on the front and roof (PSU source).

- 120mm True Quiet low speed fan with high performance silentblocks.

The packaging shows us an image of the box, in addition to the logo and the model name.

The back is all the features of the box in 6 languages.

The unit is perfectly protected with foam rubber, silky cover and cardboard.

An instruction manual comes with the box. Front part.

On its front panel it includes two USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, audio input / output, the power and reset buttons.

The PSU slot is located at the top. Its back is painted in matt black.

True Quiet 120mm fan. Works at low revs: 600 ~ 1000 RPM

The box includes a mini controller minimum (6v) and maximum (12v).

The top of the box includes an air outlet for the power supply fan.

Both the sides and the roof are painted in glossy black.

The legs are made of rubber. Although they easily fill with dust…

The screws are attached to the box by a spring.

Once we opened the tower. We see that its panel is very robust and includes an anti-vibration sheet.

The interior is painted in matte black. The Antec SOLO II includes a top camera for the power supply and 5.25 ″ units.

The fan is supported by silentblocks. Vibrations? No thanks ?

Its extraction is as easy as applying pressure.

We go back inside the box. On the floor, there are the anchors for the readers and rehobus.

Control panel cables.

WE RECOMMEND YOU Review: Antec VP550P

The extraction of the traditional, is through the front of the box.

We screw the base of the hard drive and and insert it into our case.

Another option is in suspension. Tested during our tests and 0 vibrations.

The box includes basic hardware, 2.5 ″ disc hardware and flanges.

The Antec SOLO II is without a doubt one of Antec's great creations for a quiet computer. It is made of 1.0 mm SECC polycarbonate double steel. Includes anti-vibration plates, washable filters on all fans, and two USB 3.0 ports.

We have to highlight its dual hard drive / SSD system:

  • Classic Antec anchor with anti-vibration rubbers. Suspension system. We install our hard drive to "air" without any problem (no noise and vibrations).
  • The assembly of the equipment is very well thought out. Because we have enough space to install large graphics and organize the wiring of the equipment. Although the power supply is positioned at the top, it blows air out of the chassis.

It also includes a “Antec True Quiet” fan with low revolutions (600-1000 RPM) and with silentblocks (one grave). We would have liked it to incorporate at least one extra fan on the back.

The Antec SOLO II has it all to be one of the best performace cabinets. It meets all the requirements for a quiet computer: soundproofing, ventilation and suspended hard drives. Coming soon to Spain with a RRP of € 119.
