This box is already well-known worldwide and I am going to discover a little about it shortly, but if it is going to be useful for us to remember all its characteristics and possibilities. The Bitfenix Prodigy M is a high-end box in a compact format and a very beautiful design built in steel and plastic.
WE RECOMMEND YOU BitFenix Nova, an ideal chassis for your systemThis is the new version for microATX and ITX motherboards and it is available in several colors: Black, red, white, orange, green and blue. It has dimensions of 250 x 4040 x 359 mm. We're not going to run into problems with heatsinks and graphics cards by having enough space to install either option together. My personal advice is to pull for 120mm AIO liquid cooling and a high-end graphics card.
I would like to highlight its tremendous flexibility and possibilities in assembling the equipment with inverted components. Also the FyberFlex handles that are really flexible but you have to be careful because we can break them if we put too much pressure on them.
What I see most cumbersome is the installation of the ATX power supply and the hard drives since it does not leave us much space to organize the wiring. How many hard drives does it allow us? 4 of 3.5 ″ or 5 of 2.5 ″, that is, it allows us to recreate ourselves.
In short, if you are looking for a very nice and really small microATX box, the Prodigy M has to be among your candidates. Its store price does not reach € 75, which makes it one of the best options on the market in this format.

After analyzing the charming Bitfenix Colossus in its ITX format, it is time to change the format and we move on to the Bitfenix Prodigy M for mATX motherboards after the great success of its version in the smallest format. In this analysis we will teach you all you need to know about it.
We appreciate the trust placed by Caseking and Bitfenix:

Bitfenix Prodigy M
Like other Bitfenix models we find a neutral, simple and very resistant packaging to any shock. On the cover we find the logo and the exact model of the product. On the back it indicates some of its characteristics and on both sides technical characteristics, serial number label, etc…
Once we open the box we find that it is protected by polystyrene and a plastic bag and that inside it houses the tower and a quick guide.
Once removed we see what the Bitfenix Prodigy M looks like in its red color, we have available: black, white, blue and green with window versions. It has quite compact measurements for its size: 250 x 404 x 359 mm with a weight of 7KG and is compatible for both micro ATX and ITX motherboards.
Like the normal Bitfenix, it incorporates FyberFlex technology, which are ultra flexible and durable handles. At the top we have a hatch that we can remove and see the inside of the tower or the ceiling fans that we install.
On the side we find few news. On the right we have 2 USB 3.0 connections , audio input and output, power and reset button…. In the rear area we see that we have up to 5 PCI posts, a 120 mm fan slot, honeycomb panels and a power outlet (it really is a thief) due to the location of the power supply.
On the floor we see that we have a lid with magnets that prevents the entry of dust and dirt. In addition, it gives a very elegant touch.
Once the cover on the left side is removed we do not see any news, only that we have little space to store the cables.
On the right side if we find more news. The first sheet of metal allows us to install 4 hard drives or 5 SSD of 2.5 ″ and 3.5 ″.
The cooling system has a fan on the floor and another one at the rear. We can install two in the upper area (recommended) to expel the hot air. In the hollow of the power supply we see some stops that prevent vibrations and a good anchorage without damage. Regarding heatsinks, it supports a maximum of 16 cm, so be careful when choosing the appropriate one.
As we can see in the following images, the assembly is quite nice. The entire system (motherboard, graphics card) has an inverted position and we have a 120mm outlet at the rear to be able to install 120mm liquid cooling. When we install the power supply we do not have many options to hide the wiring, therefore I advise you to choose one with modular cables. For the rest it looks great?
And finally show you the manual, thief from USB 3.0 to USB 2.0, flanges and hardware for all assembly.
