The loudness between a standard heatsink is 1.32 dBa, which for lovers of silence can be a good amount.
Corsair presents its new liquid cooling kit in a robust black / red box. The cover we have the image of the new heatsink and the model. Most striking is the incorporation of Corsair Link technology.
At the back are all the main features and some comparative tables that we have seen in the characteristics of this analysis.
Once we open the box we find a quick guide and a warning that if we need to do RMA we contact them first.
All the components are perfectly protected so that they reach our hands perfectly.
For those who don't know, the Corsair H100i is a maintenance-free liquid cooling kit. This kit in particular has a special incorporating a double radiator, this allows us double surface for cooling. Improving if we add 4 fans in push & pull.
The radiator has a width of 2.75 cm this size makes it the ideal friend for 4 fan configurations in any box on the market.
The block includes a very important change of look. But it has also gained a lot with the addition of Corsair Link technology. What is Corsair Link? It is a technology designed by Corsair that allows us to manage, monitor and create different profiles for the pump and installed fans.
As we see below we have the USB plug for power.
And the two corsair link connections to install the two belts that allow us up to 4 4-pin fans.
The base is copper and incorporates the best pre-applied thermal paste: Shin Etsu.
Tubes thicker than any closed kit and super flexible are one of the most important improvements that we find in this kit.
Let's not fear that we can perfectly guide the block connections to adjust the radiator to our needs.
It is powered directly by a SATA power connection. It also includes a 3-pin plug that allows us to read the revolutions of the pump from the motherboard.

The kit includes two 12 cm high performance fans that rotate at 2700 RPM, flow at 77 CFM, and produce a medium-high loudness level of 38 dBA.

It is compatible with all existing socket on the market AMD and Intel.
The two strips on the left serve to connect the 4 fans to Corsair Link technology. While the one on the right gives power via mini-usb to an internal USB socket on the board.
The installation of the adapters is quick thanks to its magnetized system. Here is an example of the AM3 / FM2 socket.
The tests have been carried out on a powerful 3930K black leg socket 2011.
First we install the 4 LGA 2011 screws in the threads next to the socket.
We anchor the anchor for socket 1155/2011.

We also control the pump, which has up to 4 power levels. This is very useful to create our profiles, for example: Silent PC, Daily use or Extreme. Depending on our needs, load the one that interests us the most.

This website has always been characterized by reviewing high-end material. As is the case we have used a pretty good 3930K with an Asus Rampage IV Extreme and 16 GB DDR3. We have overclocked the processor = 4800 mhz. As we can see below:

To test the team's performance we have used three high-end platforms:

As we can see the performance is very good, being at the level of liquid cooling by parts. But with the advantages of not having to fill the liquid and the 5-year warranty that Corsair offers us.
I highlight two important improvements: The Corsair Link technology that allows us to monitor the management of the hot cooling system. Also the noise of the pump motor is hardly noticeable. As many of you know the previous version, affected units arrived and many incidents occurred. Two big improvements?
In short, if you are looking for a high-end liquid cooling kit, with a double 240 radiator, without having to worry about maintenance, without noise problems at the pump and with two good but somewhat noisy fans. The Corsair H100i Kit must be the chosen one. It has a RRP of approximately € 110, already available in online stores.
