I have to confess that I love the classic electric blue of Gigabyte boards both on the PCB and in the slots / sockets. As we can see the plate has an ATX format of 305mm x 215mm.

The motherboard includes good power phases, and being a B75 chipset it does not allow us to overclock. That is, we do not need a dissipation zone for this zone.

The motherboard supports ATI Multi graphics cards. Excellent for performing distributed computing.

Like all 1155 motherboards, it allows us to install up to a maximum of 32GB DDR3, covering any of our needs for virtual machines or the use of virtual memory.

Gigabyte has included an M-SATA port that will allow us the possibility of installing a small SSD for our operating system.

The Gigabyte B75-D3V is an ATX format motherboard that integrates the B75 chipset designed to meet the needs of small / medium businesses and home appliances for daily use, compatible with the third generation of Ivy Bridge / processors. As we are used to, Gigabyte has designed the motherboard with its Ultra Durable 4 technology that gives us a plus with protection against humidity, electrostatics, protection against energy failures and high temperatures. Gigabyte offers us a plus to the rest.

In our test bench we have used an i7 2700k processor at stock speeds, since it does not allow us to overclock the motherboard, 16GB DDR3 at 2133 mhz, a 120gb solid state disk and an NVIDIA GTX 660 Ti graphics card. The playing results have been very good with 105 FPS on Lost planet 11 with DirectX11 and Battelfield 3 at 57 FPS.

We also liked the incorporation of the mSATA connection to install a small SSD for the operating system without having to occupy more SATA connections. And the MultiGPU ATI CrossFireX technology to install, for example, two 7950/7970 series cards and perform distributed computing with them.

In short, if you want to set up a team with the three BBBs (Good, nice and cheap) the Gigabyte B75-D3V must be among your chosen ones. Currently in online stores for just € 66 approx.
