Jiayu is giving strong in the Spanish market. He began his adventure in different forums, he has begun to enter the most important Spanish technology stores and his name sounds more and more on the street. As expected, Jiayu Spain has trusted us to analyze its two top-end terminals today: Jiayu G4 Turbo and the Jiayu G3S Turbo with MediaTek quad-core processor, Gorilla Glass screen and 1 GB of RAM.

We have tested its performance for the last three weeks at both terminals, and we brought our excellent taste in the mouth in this short time with it.

Jiayu G4 Turbo in front of the camera

The Jiayu comes in a box that reminds us of the old VHS tapes.

Inside it is equipped with:

The new Jiayu G4 has compact but robust dimensions with 162 grams of weight. It comes equipped with a 4.7-inch IPS screen with a 1280 x 720 pixel FULL HD resolution. To take into account its fine edges on the screen.

Now it's time to talk about the wings. We have a 3.5-inch jack connector, micro-USB connection, on / off and volume up / down buttons.

In this white version, the back is completely plastic, while in the black version it is velvety.

Once we remove the cover we find the 3000 mAH 3.7V battery that gives us autonomy for almost two days giving it a lot of power. Internally it includes 4gb of internal memory, expandable up to 64gb through a microSD card. As we can see in the following image we can add two cards - DUAL SIM: micro SIM and normal without the need to request a duplicate from our company.

Once we turn on the terminal we see that it has a high-end image quality.

Jiayu G3S Turbo QuadCore in front of the camera

The presentation is exactly the same as we have seen in the Jiayu G4. A simple, very minimalist and robust box.

The Jiayu G3S Turbo (Edition QuadCore) has careful dimensions but at the same time robust with 154 grams of weight. It comes equipped with a 4.5 inch IPS screen with a FULL HD resolution of 1280 × 720 QHD (275 PPI).

Among its connections we find at the bottom a microusb outlet for charging or connection to the PC. Its three buttons are off-screen (THANK YOU) and are backlit.

Here we can witness the power button.

And the right side presents the button to increase and decrease the volume to the terminal. While the left side does not have any buttons. How about a button to start the camera?

Since we have brought up the subject of the camera, it incorporates an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash on the back. The photos they capture are especially good.

After removing the back cover. We see that the terminal allows us to insert two SIM cards and a microSD that extends to 64GB of internal memory.

Testing operating system and camera

The first two photographs are taken with the Jiayu G3S Turbo QuadCore in the center of Malaga at around 8:00 p.m. and a second one on an excursion through Selwo Aventura in Estepona. The result to be an 8 megapixel camera of a smartphone is very good.

We also took the Jiayu G4 Turbo on an excursion through Selwo Aventura… As you can see, both shots went to the most unique primates in the park, one is very geek and the others are very garish.

Regarding the operating system, it includes Android Jelly Bean. Serial comes rooted and with the Jiayu application that will allow us to do any of the actions we want.

In the fluidity both terminals move luxury, we have the Nexus 4 and the fluidity is similar. We have installed our most common APPs: Endomondo, word processor, mail without problems. Also, from watching the videos in high definition?

Final words and conclusions

The Jiayu G4 Turbo is a smarpthone with a contained price but with high-end features. Among them, its Mediatek MT6589 Cortex-A7 quad-core processor at a speed of 1.5GHz, 1 GB of RAM, IPS screen with FULL HD resolution 1280 X 720 pixels, Android Jelly Bean operating system and a 4 GB of internal memory expandable up to 64GB via microSD. While the Jiayu G3S Turbo Quadcore is super vitaminized (almost traced) with a 4.5 ″ IPS screen (same FULL HD resolution) and a camera this time of 8 megapixels.

In the Jiayu G4 Turbo one of its strongest points is its 13 megapixel BSI CMOS LED flash camera with auto focus and a 3 megapixel camera that is a success for video conferences or self photos with players or family. In our tests we have produced very good images, although we expected perhaps a greater sharpness. For practical purposes we have seen that the performance is similar to the Jiayu G3S Turbo.

Another of its strongest points is its excellent 3000 mAh battery that has lasted us for 2 days without problems with frequent use without the need to recharge it. With other terminals such as the Galaxy Nexus or Nexus 4 it is unthinkable and we arrived at a miracle day. Alright Jiayu!

During our tests and use for 3 weeks the Jiayu G4 and the G3S Turbo our satisfaction is very great. Personally it has been one of the best phones that have passed through my hands. The only thing that I did not like very much is its plastic casing, which makes me insecure when taking it and its little variety of accessories such as covers.

Regarding the price we are in luck and we have to take them into account. The Jiayu G3S Turbo can be seen in online stores for an approximate price of € 174, while the Jiayu G4 Turbo at € 224.
