Mywigo is not well known nationally but little by little this Spanish manufacturer is making itself heard. We have been testing its new mid-range terminal for a few weeks that will surprise us with more than interesting specifications and a very attractive price / quality ratio.
Technical characteristics
- CPU: MTK6582 at 1.3GHz Quad Core Operating system (OS): Android Kit.Kat 4.4 RAM memory: 1GB Internal memory: 8GB´ Screen: 4.5 ”IPS Rear camera: 8Mpx Front camera: 2Mpx Battery: 2000mAp Dual SIM card
Design
As soon as you pick up the terminal, you can see that it is robust and its weight due to the material chosen in plastic is quite light. But on the other hand, its ergonomics is somewhat more just due to the chosen rectangular shape design, and although it can be reminiscent of an Iphone and tries to be elegant, it does not convince too much in the hand.
They should have opted for a somewhat more daring style, with curves and using less frame between the screen and the edge of the terminal. The Mywigo would have been smaller, the same screen and it would have been more comfortable to carry it in hand.
On the other hand, if many will appreciate the fact of being able to remove the back to access the battery. Before, it was an aspect that did not have to be commented, but with the rise of the unibody finish, many users prefer to be able to remove the back cover.
screen
The 4.5-inch IPS screen boasts a range of colors and contrast that look great overall, including blacks that are quite convincing. But even though he fulfills perfectly in that aspect, instead he sins in another important one.
The resolution is not HD, but qHD, which is a bit lower than other models. Specifically 960 x 540 pixels and a density of 245 dpi. The most foodies, obviously, will notice that detail but I am sure that most of the people who get it for its attractive price do not even notice it.
Regarding the brightness, there is not much to say, it simply does it and outdoors, you need more points of brightness.
Sound
If one thing can praise the mywigo against other terminals or brands is the arrangement of its speakers on the edge of the bottom of the mobile. This prevents sound from being muffled when placed on a flat surface.
The sound power is another aspect of the terminal to highlight because it has a fairly high volume and the quality is correct.
Camera
The terminal has a rear 8-megapixel camera, which after testing it for a few days has fulfilled what was expected. That is to say, the quality of the photos is quite good in spaces with light without reaching an excellent quality but it is true for those who want to take photos without expecting anything else. In moments of low light, on the other hand, the photos have more noise than one would like but you cannot ask for more.
And not only that, we can find numerous settings to take the photos, even more than those of pure Android itself. It was something easy to overcome, but there is the data.
Battery
We find a 2000 mAh battery that although a priori has less mAh than other similar or higher-end terminals, it lasts a day quite comfortably due to the specifications of the mywigo. This aspect is one of the most happy I have had because my Nexus 4 lasts much less. I have no but.
OS
The terminal comes from the factory version 4.4 Kit Kat of Android and we would not know if it has a personalization layer or not… The curious thing and that I have never seen before, is the inclusion of an icon that when pressing it changes the customization and aesthetics completely Android. It can be used more or less but of course it cannot be said that they do not give options.
WE RECOMMEND YOU Rock Z270 Killer SLI Review in Spanish (Complete Analysis)On the other hand, the stability and fluidity of the system are also highly favored after the tests carried out, largely due to its Quad core processor mentioned above and the gigabyte of RAM it incorporates. On the other hand, storage is scarce, from the 8GB in the end the available is 5.16GB for phone storage and 0.89 for internal memory. So the cloud will have to be put to good use!
conclusion
The mywigo Excited GIII is a terminal with more than acceptable features that could have opted for a more daring and efficient design. Its fluid system and its battery are the aspects in which it stands out the most and that, after all, most interest ordinary people. Ah! And not only that, I forgot the best, a very good and competitive price for what it offers: € 129 on the page of the company itself.
