Review: nzxt fz led 120/140

At the beginning of April NZXT announced its new line of 12 and 14 cm FZ fans, normal version and with 5-color LEDs: white, blue, orange, green and red. Let's see how the version with white and green LEDs behaves in our laboratory.

The NZXT FZ fan is protected in an elegant black and white case. We can see the fan without opening it.

At the back we have the most important characteristics of the fan.

We have had two surprises. Its blades are transparent and the quality is noted for its robustness. The other is its strong frame that will prevent vibrations.

This edition includes 4 white LEDs.

The most impressive thing is to see the fan work. The aurora effect is impressive.

Both versions include a high quality mesh (does not make cables transparent) and a 3-pin connector.

We love the lighting so well accomplished by NZXT.

We have made a short video checking the noise given off with the minimum voltage (0v) to the maximum (12v).

FZ LED fans are the highest high end of NZXT. We highlight the excellent build quality and its aesthetics (which I love). In the dark they are a delight.

We have checked its performance with the Prolimatech Armageddon (compatible with 120 and 140mm fans) and a 2500k at 3.4ghz. At rest we have obtained 32ºC and at full load 51ºC Excellent temperatures!

We have been very surprised by its slight sound. This is due to its TOP quality “Long Life Bearing” bearings. At low revs we do not perceive engine noise and are quite quiet. We can classify them as fans for Quiet PC.

NZXT has met all our expectations with its FZ LED fans. Achieving excellent quality / price / aesthetics.
