Scythe has manufactured the second range of Gentle Typhoon fans at speeds of 3, 000 rpm, 4, 250 rpm, and 5, 400 rpm. We highlight its high speeds and amperage (consumption). In addition to a new ring-shaped structure in its black blades and molex connections.

Scyhte has sent us a copy of each model. They keep the same box as their younger siblings Nidec 1150/1450/1850. We can already see on the cover that the blades are black.

Scythe's new Gentle Typhoon series maintains Nidec engines and frame. But its new design of black circular blades helps protect the user and rotate at high revolutions.

For its operation it is necessary to connect it to a molex connection. It means that the fan will always work at maximum power (12v) with no option to regulate it. The noise at 3000 RPM is bearable, 4250 RPM reaches the limit and 5400 RPM cannot be held. It's worthy of an IBM blade server…

Why so many revolutions?
