Among its characteristics we must highlight the incorporation of Cherry MX Black switches gold plated. They have a life cycle of 50 million keystrokes and excellent reliability. These types of connectors are best for playing, because they are linear. That is, you have to press all the way down to perform the pulsation. The Ozone Strike has a response speed of 1000hz !! This makes it one of the fastest keyboards on the market.

Not all gaming keyboards incorporate the NKRO (N Key Rollover Function). Many of you will be asking: What is NKRO?

It is a technology that allows us to press all the keys at once. It is very similar to “anti-ghosting” technology. To use this function we must connect the keyboard to the PS / 2 port, Ozone has had the detail of adding a gold-plated USB-PS / 2 adapter.

Ozone Strike integrates two USB 2.0, headphone / microphone input / output.

Its accessories include a tool to extract the keys.

When we insert the tool into the key, a “clack” should be heard. Then we press up and it will come out.

After playing titles like Left 2 Dead 1 & 2, Battelfield Bad Company 2 and Starcraft 2 for several hours, the keyboard makes you feel very comfortable. In my specific case, it has not made me a better player… but I have enjoyed the game much more.

The keyboard is also designed for daily work, thanks to its “Cherry MX-Black” switches. It will give us a pleasant feeling and its palm rest will help us get used to it quickly.

The Ozone Strike must be a keyboard to keep in mind because it incorporates the "NKRO" technology. As we have previously commented; allows us to press all the keys at once. A great advantage for the most enthusiastic players.

Its multimedia features include two USB outputs, headphones and a microphone output. We have checked the audio quality with a SuperLux 668B headphones and a Sony MP3. Although no noise has been heard, there has been a loss of sound quality. While the microphone and USB have given a good performance. The latter has allowed us to connect our HTC terminal.

The “OZONE-F” key, located on the left Windows key, also incorporates multimedia functions. During our tests we have unconsciously confused it with the Windows key and activated the multimedia keys.The keyboard will have a recommended price of € 89.95.
