Rise of the tomb raider comparative pc vs ps4 pro
Table of contents:
We return with a new video from Digital Foundry, this time it is a live comparison of Rise of the Tomb Raider in its PC version and the version for PlayStation 4 Pro, both versions running at an impressive 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels who will win?
Rise of the Tomb Raider PC vs PS4 Pro
Rise of the Tomb Raider comes to PS4 Pro at 4K resolution which is quite impressive for hardware that will cost 400 euros to users, the negative part is that the game is locked at 30 FPS so the fluidity will be correct but quite limited, especially for those users accustomed to playing 60 FPS. Fortunately, the game will have several display options to reach 60 FPS, albeit at a lower resolution.
If we compare both versions we see that the PS4 Pro holds the type in a very dignified way although it has quite important limitations, the most evident are the textures that are cut with respect to the PC version. No wonder if we consider that the new console still has only 8 GB of total memory and many high-end gaming PCs already reach 24 GB of memory (16 GB of RAM + 8 GB of VRAM). Still it is quite commendable that hardware that costs 400 euros manages to move the game in 4K with an acceptable FPS rate.
