John GodGames Emus has released new videos in which the RPCS3 emulator can be seen running the Haze, Afro Samurai, Armored Core V and Clash of the Titans games at 4K resolution, offering a great improvement in image quality compared to the Playstation 3.
RPCS3 is still advanced and you can now play Haze and Afro Samurai at 4K and 30 FPS without problems, all the details
Haze and Afro Samurai are fully playable in RPCS3 with no major graphics issues. These games run at constant 30fps in 4K resolution with a GeForce GTX1080 graphics card and the Vulkan API, which opens the door for PC users to enjoy them in the best possible way, although not everyone will be lucky enough to meet the demanding requirements..

Armored Core V and Clash of the Titans are playable, but they're not without major graphics and sound issues. Even so, the performance seems to be fine and they will possibly be fully playable in the next versions of this emulator that continues to progress at a good pace.
Lastly, a video has been shared showing Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. The console version of this game is completely different, and uses a third-person perspective. The emulation is not perfect as there are still some graphics glitches, however hopefully this game will be playable soon too.
The Playstation 3 console and its Cell processor are based on a very peculiar architecture and different from what we have on our PCs, this makes the perfect emulation extremely complicated, although RPCS3 continues to take important steps in the right direction. Let us hope that it continues to mature at a good pace in the coming years.
