Rtx wolfenstein youngblood - available with game ready controllers

Nvidia has already released its new Game Ready controller at CES 2020, which among other things adds support for Ray Tracing and DLSS to the Wolfenstein Youngblood game, thus increasing the list of IPs that already implement this technology.
RTX Wolfenstein Youngblood
One of the novelties we have in these controllers in addition to the new Nvidia VRSS Variable Rate Super Sampling technology, is that it adds support for ray tracing to this game that uses the idTech 6 graphics engine. Other recently released games such as Call of Duty Modern Warfare They have also been updated to RTX technology, and also Deliver Us The Moon. Or as Control, IGN's game of the year, which is a clear banner of this technology that makes the most of Ray Tracing and DLSS in the building where the game takes place.
Wolfenstein Youngblood has been on the market for a few months and surely many players wondered why it did not have Ray Tracing despite having brutal graphics and an engine prepared for it. Better late than never, and this same January 6 these drivers will be available on the official Nvidia website and the corresponding patch of the game on the platform where we have bought it for all those who want to get more out of their graphics card Nvidia RTX.
The improvements that are implemented with this technology are evident: with RTX On we have some reflections of light in real time on improved objects, which are especially noticeable in water textures and walls. And with DLSS activated we will improve the overall performance of the game by rendering the textures at a lower resolution to compensate for the greater consumption of graphic resources in ray tracing.
Nvidia has shared in its press release screenshots of the game with these new graphics and performance results in 1440p with the RTX 2060. On the right side we have 85 FPS rates with RTX enabled and DLSS disabled, while with DLSS enabled (imagine than rendering at 1080p) the rates go up to a very good 117 FPS. It is not an average measurement, so in some places we will have better rates and in others worse, depending on the texture load.
In any case, it is an element that always plays in favor of those who want a more realistic experience and have a GPU with which to take advantage of it. You already know that with the GTX it is also possible to activate the RTX function, but performance will be compromised. Are you going to install this patch? Do you find Ray Tracing useful for games?
