ASRock announces its latest Phantom Gaming series graphics cards , the RX 5700 XT Phantom Gaming D 8G OC and the RX 5700 Phantom Gaming D 8G OC. Equipped with 8 GB GDDR6 memory and the latest PCI Express 4.0 support. They have a triple fan design to avoid high temperatures, with ARGB lighting programmable through the manufacturer's software and an elegant metal backplate.

Specifications, intended for 1440p

The new Phamton Gaming OC series features a higher base frequency than AMD reference models. The RX 5700 XT reaches a frequency of 1690/1835 Mhz up to 1945 MHz, while the RX 5700 reaches 1610 / 1725Mhz up to 1750 MHz respectively; with a total capacity of up to 8 GB of VRAM and a memory bandwidth of 256 bits. With this little overclocking that ASrock adds, users will have extra performance on their graphics cards. They have been announced to play at 1440p resolutions, but this as always will depend on each game.

These graphics cards occupy 2.7 slots due to their large heatsink. As we can see on the back, it has 4 video outputs, 3 DisplayPort 1.4 and an HDMI 2.0. Asrock has also introduced a new feature called 0dB Silent Cooling, which allows you to turn off the chart fans when the temperature drops below certain degrees, totally reducing noise. The company recommends having at least a 700 watt power supply. In addition, the ASRock Tweak utility provides users with performance adjustments and smart fan speed control. It is not yet known what the starting price will be when they hit the market.

Would you buy these graphics cards? Do you think they will be enough for 1440p? Do not hesitate to leave your comments.
