Since launching in August, Samsung's CHG90 - the world's largest QLED gaming monitor - has emerged as an innovator and industry pioneer. The monitor leadership position recently received additional validation from the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA), which, after a rigorous testing procedure, confirmed that the CHG90 (along with the CHG70) exemplifies its DisplayHDR 600 performance standards and is the First monitor in the industry to become certified as DisplayHDR compliant.

Samsung CHG90 is an impressive 49-inch curved monitor

Until recently, there was no standard specification for the HDR performance of PC monitors and laptop displays. But earlier this year, VESA, an international nonprofit organization that sets and supports interface standards for displays across the industry, established the DisplayHDR standard.

With this standard, consumers can tell if a screen has what it takes to deliver a quality HDR image. The fully open standard specifies HDR quality, including luminance, color gamut, bit depth, and response time.

The first with DisplayHDR 600 certification

This new standard has three levels (DisplayHDR 400, 600, 1000) ; The DisplayHDR 600 level of this monitor indicates that HDR content can be enjoyed in bright interior lighting conditions.

Various media and global technology organizations have commemorated the performance and presentation of the screen. These include the 2017 Best Monitor Reviews Trusted Award.

Currently we can get this curved monitor of 49 inches and 32: 9 format for around 1200 euros in Spain.
