We find the classic packaging for this type of storage units: plastic blister and cardboard surface. We can see that it is an SD card with UHS-1 technology, ideal to be mounted on our smartphones and tablets, its read / write rates and compatible with any electronic device. We have subjected the 32 GB Samsung EVO Micro SD to various tests including Cristal Disk Mark and tests of copying from / to between the card and an SSD to avoid any possible bottleneck of an HDD, these have been the results:

In our tests we can see a reading speed of 38 MB / s, a figure lower than the 48 MB / s that Samsung promises as the maximum rate, although Cristal Disk Mark has come very close (44 MB / s). As for the write rate we have obtained a figure of almost 33 MB / s. We are facing a memory card that is not the fastest on the market but it can boast of being one of the queens of the price / performance ratio.

Final words and conclusion

I have been using the 32GB Samsung EVO Micro SD memory card on my Lumia Smartphone and the performance has been outstanding showing great speed when loading videos and games, if your smartphone has limited storage capacity this is an excellent option to increase it in a very economic way and without loss of performance. The Samsung EVO Micro SD is also ideal for use in cameras and even for Full HD video recording.

In summary, a memory card with a very tight price and that offers a much higher performance than the usual class 4 cards, which are usually found in most stores and cost almost the same.
