New rumors emerge about Samsung's next top-of-the-range phone, the Galaxy S8. According to information that has been echoed by the people of PhoneArena, the Korean company has just registered the name of 'beast mode' in Europe.

'Beast mode' would give more power to the Galaxy S8

Samsung registers the name of 'beast mode' in Europe, and the registration documentation clearly indicates that it could be used on smartphones and / or mobile operating systems.

'Beast mode' means in Spanish 'beast mode', this quickly leads us to think that the next Samsung phones, including the Galaxy S8, could have a high-performance operating mode with that name, similar to the mode ' Turbo Boost ' that Intel adds to its processors AMD's ' Turbo Core' mode.

The next Sasmung Galaxy S8 would come with the new Snapdragon 835 processor, something that we anticipated in a leak from last November. This processor would be 27% faster than the previous Snapdragon 820.

At no time has it been commented on a 'Turbo' mode in this mobile processor or in any other, so the 'beast mode' would be a feature that would be activated by software. The 'beast mode', fully entering the speculation, would increase the clock speeds of the processor, at the cost of higher battery consumption.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 would be presented at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) in February, with a launch planned for the month of April.
