According to new information, the Korean firm seeks to launch this phone before the Huawei Mate X reaches the market. So it would launch in the coming months, although it seems very soon.

Samsung has made it clear on several occasions that they want to dominate the folding phone segment. Therefore, the Korean brand wants to have several models in stores as soon as possible. There are three new models running, apart from the Galaxy Fold that will arrive in stores shortly. In this way, there could be a new model in a couple of months, if we take these rumors into account.

Although so far the company has not said anything about it. So we don't know if we should take these rumors seriously. Koreans' intentions in this regard are clear: to dominate this market segment.

So on the one hand it is not uncommon for Samsung to soon have some new folding phone ready. But the reality is that they would normally wait until 2020 to launch new phones of this type. Especially since the Galaxy Fold has not yet reached stores and we do not know how the public will respond.
