Humble Store continues giving away games to celebrate Black Friday, this time it is Sanctum 2, a game released in 2013 and which falls within the genre of FPS although with a rather unusual approach today.

Sanctum 2 offers us a futuristic adventure on the planet Loek-III, where the Britech Foundation has established a human colony that was later besieged by various creatures native to the planet. The key to colony survival is the nuclei, which appear as large blue spheres of energy and convert inert gases such as nitrogen into oxygen and cleanse areas of native, fungal-like spores.

The Lumes are hostile to the nuclei and in an attempt to destroy them fill the planet with poisonous spores. To counter the Lumes, the Britech Foundation has created and armed a military wing known as the Core Guardians who are tasked with defending the cores using their arsenal of weapons and defensive towers. The war between Britech and the Lumes has been going on for an undetermined time.

To get the game for free you only need an account in the Humble Store, if you do not have it you can create it for free so there is no excuse to try this game that promises fun for fans of the genre. Once logged into your account you just have to enter the promotion page, add the game to the basket and complete the purchase. After that you will receive in your email a key for Steam with which you will have the game forever without spending a single euro.
