Sapphire attended CES 2018 to show one of the most anticipated products in recent months, or at least, since the RX VEGA series was launched: It is the custom variant RX VEGA Nitro +.

Sapphire went to great lengths to keep this card's existence in absolute ostracism, even going so far as to book an entire room to display its RX Vega Nitro +, on top of its antistatic plastic wrap, a demonstration not idyllic, but at least we know what exists and that Sapphire plans to release it very soon.

As we can see in the images, the card uses a triple turbine cooling system, with aluminum and copper heatsinks. Power will consist of three 8-pin cables to boot this graphics card, which as we know from the VEGA series, is more power demanding than NVIDIA variants.

Even with this Sapphire presentation, we cannot give more details about the RX VEGA Nitro + because they have not given a release date or an approximate price that it will have. It seems incredible but this card will continue, at least for the moment, in limbo. What could be causing Sapphire so much delay? If we enter the field of speculation, it is possibly the high consumption and temperatures that are giving Sapphire headaches, in addition the VEGA series are not enjoying much popularity and players are opting for the NVIDIA option, both in the middle range and in the high range.

We will keep you informed when we have its release date.
