Sapphire and XFX will sell the Radeon VII with a reference design
Both Sapphire and XFX have revealed that they will launch Radeon VII graphics cards under their brand names, although at the moment both companies only appear to be selling the AMD reference design.
The two brands have included the Radeon VII on their respective websites, although in the case of XFX, at the time of this writing, the link to the graphics card appears to be broken.
Apparently there will be no custom designs at launch
Sapphire, by contrast, has revealed its custom Radeon VII boxart and graphics card that appears to lack any Sapphire brand decal or logo, keeping the clean look of AMD's reference design. The company has also listed the specifications its variant will have, with a base clock of 1, 400 MHz, a boost clock of 1, 750 MHz, 16 GB of VRAM HBM2 memory and 1 TB / s of total memory bandwidth.
AMD Radeon VII graphics cards will go on sale on February 7 with a suggested price of $ 699. These graphics cards will be available on AMD.com and from the brand's AIB partners. What remains to be confirmed is whether the price will be exactly the same for the partners.
