The new Mugen 5 TUF Gaming Alliance refrigerator features a carefully designed top cover, which incorporates the ASUS TUF Gaming Alliance series logo. The large translucent surface of the top plate is equipped with RGB LEDs. This lighting is further enhanced by the new Kaze Flex 120 RGB fan, which offers vivid colors and great visual effects.

The Kaze Flex 120 fan uses eight RGB LEDs inside the ring around the fan motor for consistent, bright lighting. Users can take full control of the RGB settings by connecting the fan directly to a motherboard with RGB support. In this way it is possible to synchronize the colors and effects using the Asus Aura application.

The compatibility list includes the Intel LGA775, LGA115x, LGA1366, LGA 2011 (v3) and LGA 2066 sockets, as well as the AMD AM2 (+), AM3 (+), FM1, FM2 (+) and AM4 jacks.
