According to sources, LG is planning to advance the release of the LG G6 by the end of February and the beginning of March. The mass production of the terminal would be done during February, which means that LG advances the planned launch by one month.
LG's flagship terminal would come with two important novelties with respect to the LG G5, wireless charging and water resistance. Water resistance is something that we already saw in the top-of-the-range phones of other companies, such as Samsung and its Galaxy S7, the same as wireless charging. Another feature of the LG G6 would be the iris scanner and a new payment system that would work very similar to Samsung Pay, offering payment compatibility via NFC and also through the MST magnetic system to allow greater compatibility than Android Pay and Apple Pay.

Another reason for LG to advance the date of the launch of this terminal is to accommodate the numbers for the first quarter of 2017, which ends at the end of March.
