Wooting keyboards have arrived to 'revolutionize' the gaming keyboard market with their analog switch system, allowing you to individually identify the level of a key press rather than traditional mechanical systems that only turn switches on or off.

Wooting keyboards use analog keys instead of mechanical ones

In games, this can allow users to differentiate between a running speed and a running speed with WASD or control vehicles more easily. This is similar to what we can already do with gamepads and their analog sticks for many years.

Wooting's first product was Wooting One, offering a plethora of new options for PC gamers while offering everything else mechanical keyboard users would expect. Now the company has revealed its Wooting Two, offering a numpad and a number of additional changes.

The Wooting Two will offer the same functions as the One, providing four additional programmable keys, a numeric keypad, and a lower height to reduce typing noise. The keyboard will use the same Flaretech key switches with Linear55 "Red", Clicky55 "Blue" and Linear85 "Black" varieties and upgrade the micro-USB cable to a USB Type-C.

The Wooting Two will be available for the first time on Kickstarter on May 31, and the company plans to continue supporting the first One model in the future with software updates. More information on Wooting Two and its Kickstarter campaign will be available in the coming weeks.
