Sapphire launched its new series of Radeon RX 590 graphics cards last month with the Sapphire RX 590 Nitro + Special Edition model, a limited edition of the card that came in a blue color that is unattractive to many users. The Sapphire Radeon RX 590 Nitro + OC Sans has now been announced .

A few weeks after the arrival of the RX 590, the new Sapphire Radeon RX 590 Nitro + OC Sans is announced which is basically the same card, but with a much more traditional aesthetic design. During the Christmas weekend, the company updated its product stack to present a new model that had entered the mass production phase, this is this new Sapphire RX 590 Nitro + OC Sans.

There are only aesthetic changes between the two cards. Sapphire's favorite shade of blue in the special edition SKU makes way for matte black on the refrigerator cover, as well as black accents on the backplate, rather than blue. The fan impellers are opaque matte black rather than translucent.
Fortunately, Sapphire has not changed the specs, which include a factory overclock. The card is shipped with GPU clocks that reach 1560 MHz in turbo, and with memory memories at 8.40 GHz. The card offers a second "silent" BIOS that limits the GPU to 1545 MHz and memory to 8.00 GHz. The underlying PCB also doesn't change, drawing power from a combination of 8-pin and 6-pin PCIe power connectors, and with a VRM of 6 + 1 phases.
The video outputs on this card include two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and two HDMI 2.0 ports, along with a dual-link DVI-D. The company did not disclose the price, although we expect it to be slightly lower than the special edition model.
