Since the launch of the RTX 2080 Ti graphics card, NVIDIA's top-of-the-range model has had glitches that have spread to its buyers, who have shouted at the sky in the company's official forums.

NVIDIA confirms that there were problems in the manufacturing of the RTX 2080 Ti

NVIDIA, through a blog post on its forums, has confirmed the existence of widespread reports of bugs affecting its RTX 2080 Ti graphics card. The most common problems are black screens, blue screens of death, artifacts, and cards that don't work at all. Problems began to surface all over the tech forums, before reaching a critical mass that ensured coverage, just in case this was exactly what it looked like - a NVIDIA production and quality control issue.

The problem appears to have been fortunately limited to some of the early graphics card manufacturing batches, which did not have adequate quality control. In NVIDIA's own words: "Lack of testing of the first cards has caused problems for some customers with RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition." The company then says it is willing to help customers who are experiencing problems but can't do much more than enforce the warranty and send them a new graphics card.

Remember that this would only be affecting Founders Edition models in a general way, but not custom models. Although buyers are protected by a guarantee, it is certainly a headache not to be able to enjoy a purchase of such a caliber and to have to wait for a new one to be sent to you.
