New signs of sunset overdrive for PC discovered on steam

Less than a week after a PC version of Sunset Overdrive emerged via an ESRB listing, the PC version of Microsoft's exclusive Xbox One title is once again in the headlines.

This time, a Steam back-end app has been discovered that appears to be for Sunset Overdrive. Twitter user Wario64 discovered that the listing is a hidden post, which can only be seen through the third-party tool, SteamDB, and appears to have been receiving regular updates since its addition to Steam seven months ago. However, since it is hidden, we cannot discern more information from the page, as only the thumbnail image is visible.

This could mean that the Insomniac games game will be available to PC gamers through the Microsoft Store and Steam platforms. Microsoft and THQ Nordic have a partnership that has previously brought Windows 10 games like ReCore and Super Lucky's Tale to the Steam platform, and Sunset Overdrive may be gearing up to be the latest addition.

Of course you have to take the discovery very cautiously until some official announcements are made, but the odds of seeing at least one exclusive Sunset Overdrive release for Windows 10 are pretty high, considering we've already seen ESRB ratings very recently. If Microsoft has plans to announce or even make a surprise launch of the game, the upcoming X018 event on November 10 is a good candidate.
