THQ reveals Darksiders III PC requirements and they don't seem so high

The Gunfire Games developer studio has increased the minimum requirements for Darksiders III, which now require higher-end CPU models, larger system memory banks, and a storage requirement that is 10GB higher. The only things that remain unchanged are the requirements for a DirectX 11 card and 2GB of video memory. The developers also recommend the use of a gamepad / controller on the PC.

In the high-end, Gunfire Games recommends both 12-core 6-core processors from both AMD and Intel, which match Intel's i7-3970K and a Ryzen 5 1600 on the AMD side. The developers also recommend 16GB of system memory and an AMD RX 480 or GeForce GTX 970 graphics card with 4GB of VRAM.

Minimum requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows 7/8/10 64 bit Processor: AMD FX-8320 (3.5 GHz) / Intel i5-4690K (3.5 GHz) or higher Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: GeForce GTX 660 / Radeon R7 370 with 2 GB VRAM Storage: 25 GB of available space

Recommended requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows 7/8/10 64 bit Processor: Intel Core i7-3930K (3.2 GHz) / AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (3.2 GHz) or higher Memory: 16 GB RAM Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 480 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 with 4 GB VRAM storage: 25 GB of available space Additional notes: We recommend the use of a remote.

Darksiders III is scheduled for release on November 27 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
